"Dare" is a song by Stan Bush, featured on the 1986 album The Transformers: The Movie - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Along with "The Touch", it is one of two songs performed by Stan Bush included in The Transformers: The Movie.
It plays early in the movie; after Hot Rod and a moody Daniel have a brief conversation concerning Spike's prolonged absence, Daniel receives a signal indicating that an Autobot shuttle is about to land nearby. As his spirits are raised by these news, "Dare" begins to play, accompanying the duo's race to "lookout mountain", until Hot Rod notices a group of Decepticon using the Shuttle as a means to ambush Autobot City. It reprises later when the Autobots storm Unicron, crashing through his eye.

Notes
- The Dancouga - Super Beast Machine God song "Ai wo Shitta Yajuu No You Ni" from the 1987 album Songs for Dancougar features some startling similarties to Dare, including an absolutely identical intro and middle eight, among other things. No comment... except maybe to say that it wouldn't be the first time a Vince DiCola song turned up somewhere else without credit. We dare (tee-hee!) you to listen to it and tell us otherwise!
