George "Bud" Davis (born December 23, 1936) is an American actor, director and stunt coordinator. Perhaps his most notable on-screen role was as the Phantom Killer in the original 1976 version of The Town That Dreaded Sundown. He was also the Second Unit/Assistant Director on films such as Child's Play, King Kong Lives and So I Married an Axe Murderer.
He has performed or coordinated stunts in innumerable movies and TV shows since 1964. Most notably, he coordinated the stunts for Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away and Inglorious Basterds. Davis has also been inducted into the Stuntman Hall of Fame for his work over the decades.
