- Butla is a Decepticon drone from the Legends portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Butla (バトラ Batora) is Skullcruncher's bird-type Partner Drone who helps keep his teeth clean. Butla also doubles as an excellent hostage taker/shield user.
Fiction
Transformers Legends comic
Butla was created by Tarantulas to complement Skullcruncher's new transtector, and was ridden into battle by Weirdwolf during their attack on Tokyo. When the Autobots showed up to stop them, Weirdwolf had Butla grab Chromedome and held him hostage by forcing him into the drone's dinosaur mode. Though the Decepticons were defeated, Chromedome was unable to get out of Butla and had to live his life as a dinosaur from then on.
