Hey guys! Since the b4tA online game isn't really providing any stats but the overall totals, I'm going to take it on myself to mash some up and give ppl a real idea how 'close' zones are to the tipping point. (Zone 16, for instance, sees only about 100 battles per day, so the actual number of wins needed to tip it from Autobot to Decepticon control is small- most of North America sees 20 times that volume.)

However, my geography... not so good. I want to give continental totals too, but I don't know where to break them up. (Where does Europe end and Asia begin?)

  • North America: 1,2,3,4,5
  • South America: 6,7
  • Eurasia: 8,9,10,11,14,15,18
  • Africa: 12,13,16,17
  • Oceania: 19,20

Also, if you have any ideas for names of individual zones, let me know, since the game designers neglected to give us descriptive titles. (Of course, if no one suggests names, I have a sinking suspicion that Greenland is going to be annexed as 'Jackpotopia'.) -Derik 02:47, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

The Red Zone pic

I am so tempted to change the Caption to a C&C3 joke, but I'm afraid no one would get it. -- Hunter-113 01:12, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Heh. Sadly, I cannot encourage you to do so, since the caption is informational- and I think that information actually makes the pic quite funny... -Derik 01:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Had to think about it for a second, but yes, it is funny. -- Hunter-113 01:11, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Balance?

" The game's developer, who sometimes plays as a Dreadwing named simply Admin, is particularly proud of the 'balance' of of the game, where low-level players can still realistically challenge high-level players because they are ill-equipped to deal with the long 'endurance' matches favored by the low-level attacks."

Is... this sarcasm? It's hard to tell, partially because the sentence is poorly-constructed. --M Sipher 02:16, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
I believe it's meant that the high-level players are ill-equipped to handle the "endurance" matches of low-level attacks, but it's still either sarcasm or a painfully misinformed statement. Get a Major whoring out his Trigger Happy and his Flamethrower, and no Lieutenant or Private will last more than five or six rounds unless he's lucky. – Slackerbot 05:22, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
