*It is entirely possible that Laserbeak is actually using Ramhorn's colors.
*In "Shattered Expectations", Laserbeak's body is based on Energon Divebomb (a body also used to make "Dawn of Future's Past" Laserbeak), with the colors of Armada Laserbeak.

*His other appearances use a more traditional body design. He probably uses Ramhorn's colors, with Buzzsaw taking those of Steeljaw.

This article is about the heroic Decepticon mini-cassette. For his evil counterpart, see Laserbeak (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Laserbeak (disambiguation).
Laserbeak is a heroic Decepticon Mini-Cassette from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.
He's a pretty obscure character. You probably haven't heard of him.

Laserbeak is one of Soundwave's heroic Decepticon Mini-Cassettes. Also a total hipster.

Fiction

Shattered Expectations

Ironically, he's scarier than his G1 counterpart.

As part of the Mayhem Suppression Squad, Laserbeak responded to a signal sent by Razorclaw, leaping out of Astrotrain while spewing fire at the Autobots Jazz, Grimlock, and Goldbug. Shattered Expectations

Shattered Glass

Not that one, the other one.

Having decided that Optimus Prime's Ark posed too great a threat to the galaxy, the Decepticons resolved to destroy it. Once Razorclaw and Rampage had taken out the hapless guards and Starscream's team had dropped their glass gas bombs, Megatron gave the order to attack the Autobots, and Laserbeak was among the troops that answered his call. He survived the battle and retreated along with Soundwave and Buzzsaw after the Decepticons were victorious. Shattered Glass

Recordicons

Laserbeak was listening to Rosanna's "Look At Me I Am Waving (Double Trance Mix)" when he was spotted by Ravage. Though he was confident that Ravage would never have heard of Rosanna, Ravage not only had, but knew her through Yatter. After Rosanna herself confirmed it, Ravage went on to mention that she'd used his Yatters as lyrics to her song, and an enraged Laserbeak was forced to enjoy the song ironically from then on. Recordicons #8 Laserbeak labeled his positive universe counterpart a poser for perching on whoever happened to be the Decepticon leader, and Megatron a sheepitron for fighting a planet-wide civil war. Recordicons #23 When Ravage asked him what music he liked, Laserbeak launched into a speech about how he only appreciated worthy music. Unfortunately he was grabbed by Soundwave, who needed his guitar alternate mode for a performance by Tape-Filled Idiots. Recordicons #25
