Four million years ago, Zeta Prime quoted dialogue from The Birth of Cybertron to justify a lack of concern about the suspicious death of Hefter in police custody. In response, Zeta's close adviser Orion Pax denounced the film as Nominist propaganda. Dance Among the Shadows

During his tenure as ruler of Cybertron, Starscream watched The Birth of Cybertron in order to glean tips regarding empire-building. The film instead inspired him to have a movie about his own life made, and he convinced Thundercracker to make it. Thundercracker later predicted that said movie would be the next Birth of Cybertron, though not as "hella-racist". Starscream: The Movie
