Zaur is a Brontobot, a gentle beast that loves to play around water. He is a member of Rosanna's collection of exotic animals.

When Captain Fanzone was accidentally transwarped to Cybertron, Zaur was one of the Transformers who crowded around him, only to flee for their lives when they realized that he was a disgusting organic. This Is Why I Hate Machines

Rosanna, who was walking Ramhorn and Zaur, was unfortunately near a police chase consisting of Cheetor, Crumplezone, and Ransack. The excitement frightened away her pets, who dragged along Rosanna by their leashes. Moving Violations

Notes

• Zaur was first revealed in an April Fools image on Derrick J. Wyatt's blog showcasing various characters who might or might not appear in the rest of Season Three.
• He is an homage to the cassette-bot, Saur. Does this mean there's an Animated Dile somewhere?
• The term Brontobot is obviously a nod to the dinosaur Brontosaurus.
