- Neutro is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Neutro (also Groundbuster or Groundshaker) is the hardest-working member of the Construction Patrol. He accepts the destruction of war with stoicism. He secretly longs for the fighting to be over so he can return to his true vocation: interpretive sculpture.[1]
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity

Neutro was one of the legions of Dead Universe Micromasters who pursued Hardhead and Nightbeat on Gorlam Prime. He survived to pursue the Autobots into the planet's subterranean caverns, and helped the Jhiaxus-possessed Nightbeat dig out after Hardhead triggered a cave-in. Spotlight: Hardhead
Regeneration One

Neutro was part of a team along with Groundpounder, Takedown, Crumble, and Erector, under the command of Quickmix, that constructed the Nebulan end of the space bridge network in the Clar Macro-jungle. As the freshly-woken Fortress Maximus fell under the influence of the Dark Matrix creature and took control of the space bridge network shortly afterwards, Neutro and his team probably perished. Groundshaker was one of the Micromasters who chose to take on weapon modes and partner with larger Autobots, adopting the moniker "Mini-Cons" in the process. Partnered with Tailgate, he would use his claw mode to help his partner defuse bombs. Tailgate/G1 Micron Chapter During Tailgate and Swerve's battle with Trypticon in 2015, Tailgate used Groundshaker to pluck Swerve out of a hole in the ground, then revealed his weapon's true identity as a tiny robot to Rattrap in order to make the rat feel better about his own small size. Bonus Edition Vol. 8 Groundshaker, Tailgate and their allies eventually defeated Trypticon. LG-43 Trypticon Project Chapter
Commercial appearances
The Construction Patrol and the Hot Rod Patrol were faced by Scorponok advancing menacingly upon them. As the Decepticon began to cross a suspension bridge, they destroyed it, sending Scorponok tumbling down. Hot Rod and Construction Patrol commercial
Toys
Generation 1

- Construction Patrol (Micromaster Patrol, 1990)
- Neutro transforms into a mainly yellow bulldozer. He was only available in a four-pack with his teammates Crumble, Groundpounder, and Takedown.
Zone
- Build Patrol Team (Micro TF team, 1990)
- Japanese ID number: C-351
- The Construction Patrol was sold the same year in Japan in the Zone series with no notable changes as the "Build Patrol Team".
Generations

- Autobot Tailgate & Groundbuster (Legends Class, 2014)
- Series / Number: 02 / #008
- Part of the sixth wave of 2012-onwards Generations Legends Class toys, Thrilling 30 "Autobot Tailgate" comes with "Groundbuster" (name changed due to trademark unavailability). He transforms into a robot, a bomb disposal skid loader,[2] and an extended claw for Tailgate to wield via its 5mm post, or mount onto the peg-hole on Tailgate's hood in vehicle mode.
- In a nod to his original toy, he has (non-functional) wheels sculpted on his tread-arms.
Legends

- Legends "Groundshaker" is a redeco of his Generations toy in a much darker teal, a result of being gang-molded with Tailgate. Tailgate and Groundshaker were sold exclusively in a two-pack with Swerve and Phaser.
Notes
- "Groundpounder" was also considered as a trademark-friendly name for the Thrilling 30 incarnation of Neutro before they settled on "Groundbuster".[3]
- Amusingly, the 2015 Robots in Disguise Decepticon Groundpounder also suffers from this disconnect, being named "Groundpounder" in fiction and "Groundbuster" for his toy.
- Thanks to his plastic colors and choice of red paint accents, the Groundbuster toy does end up bearing an extremely vague resemblance to the obscure Dell Comics giant robot character Neutro.
Foreign names
- Japanese: Neutro (ニュートロ Nyūtoro), Groundshaker (Legends, グランドシェイカー Gurandosheikā)
- Italian: Neutron
