Toys
Animated
- Starscream Clone Black Version (EZ Collection, 2010)
- This clone is a redeco of Legends Starscream in transparent plastic (with some opaque black parts), transforming into a futuristic, forward-swept wing jet fighter based upon the Su-47 (S-37) Berkut Experimental Fighter and the YF-19 "Alpha One" from the series Macross Plus.
- He was only available at JUSCO stores in Japan, given away for free to customers who purchased Animated Ultra Magnus on August 6th.
- This mold was also used to make Ramjet Clear White Version, Skywarp Clear Purple Version, Sunstorm Clear Orange Version, and Thundercracker Clear Blue Version.
Notes

- While named "Starscream Clone Black Ver." on the TakaraTomy website, the instructions included with the figure spell out "Starscream Clone Black Version" in katakana.
- The idea that this toy represents an original character, based solely on the name, is admittedly specious. However, the TakaraTomy webpage[1] about their Starscream-clone-themed promotion shows the black Starscream clone standing next to the preexisting clones, surrounding what is plainly the original Starscream (see right). This argues against the "Starscream Clone Black Version" being simply Starscream or one of his known clones in a new black body. Hello, nebulous toy-original character!
