Talk:Starscream Clone Black Version

... well, shoot, Chris. I was going off the Allspark report on these guys, and they must have had the name reversed, because I thought he was "Starscream Black Clone Ver". "Starscream Clone Black Ver" is a much stronger argument for the toy actually representing a new character.

Question in retrospect, though. Should he be at "Black clone" instead of "Black Clone", and does he need the nameless-designation template on him? --Monzo 12:00, 16 July 2010 (EDT)

I almost feel like he ought to be "Black Starscream clone", or something completely joyless like that. That does seem like a situation requirin' one'a them thar "nameless" templates.- Chris McFeely 12:04, 16 July 2010 (EDT)
Man, Interro found a way to make this even more joyless and overly literal than even me! - Chris McFeely 12:18, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
Should this at least be at "Version" over "Ver.", or what? --Monzo 12:36, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
Adhering to the only given descriptor of this character, hardly a first at this Wiki, makes me "joyless and overly literal". Okay then. —Interrobang 18:32, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
Ah, c'mon, man. What is "Starscream Clone Black Ver"? That's not... anything. It's not a name, it's barely coherent as a descriptor. It's a mushy collection of Engrish that consists of a toy's descriptive title appended to the end of a non-name. - Chris McFeely 18:52, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
His designation is in English, right? So it isn't a matter of an over-literal translation or anything. But if it is a designation and not a proper name, it shouldn't use caps. - Starfield 16:45, 26 August 2010 (EDT)
And can we get a link to the Takara website in question? -Derik 12:21, 16 July 2010 (EDT)
A previous Takara exclusive repurposed? http://thundershot.net/thex/files/rmscblak_291.jpg 24.154.194.42 14:14, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
I don't think you understand the meaning of "repurposed" used here at the Wiki. —Interrobang 15:07, 28 August 2010 (EDT)
No.. But my appologies for speaking out of turn. Just a speculation on the resemblance in coloring, and reflection on the G2 Starscream and Ramjet colors as "Bender" :) and "Flexo". Won't come up again. 24.154.194.42 01:21, 29 August 2010 (EDT)

If this clone needs a name after all, can I suggest either Nacelle or Skyquake? Both are black and white seekers, and the clones don’t have them listed yet among their ranks. ArchivingConvoy (talk) 00:59, 7 October 2024 (EDT)

This is a 14 year old discussion. And we're not giving the article an actual character name if they don't have an official one. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 07:24, 7 October 2024 (EDT)
