Sacntuary Station came under attack from [[Bludgeon (G1)|Bludgeon]] and his [[Maximal]] armada as they proceeded to Earth. As it was unarmed, the station had no way of defending itself and was on the verge of destruction when [[Cosmos (G1)|Cosmos]], [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]], [[Buzzsaw (G1)|Buzzsaw]], and [[Sky-Byte (RID)|Sky-Byte]] volunteered to defend the station until their dyin moment, allowing around thirty other inhabitants to escape to Earth in pods. - Sanctuary Station is a space station from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Located in orbit around Jupiter, Sanctuary Station is the centerpiece of Soundwave's vision of the Decepticon cause: a commune for them to call home.

Sacntuary Station came under attack from Bludgeon and his Maximal armada as they proceeded to Earth.
