The Cybertronian Omnifunctional Modular Battlefield Assault Tech System[1] — or the C.O.M.B.A.T. System for short — is a type of modular weapons technology purported to be the most advanced in the universe. Employed by the Transformers in the final days of their conflict on Cybertron, C.O.M.B.A.T. weapons can convert into alternate forms suited for different types of combat or combine to become bigger and stronger.
Toys
War for Cybertron: Siege
Weapons under the C.O.M.B.A.T. System have multiple hardpoints on them so that they can be combined in various configurations. Toys from the Battle Master assortment not only transform into said weapons, but also include "Fire Blasts" that can be used on hardpoints on both weapons and the figures themselves to simulate blasters firing or characters being 'shot'.
