Dirge is a Seeker under the command of Starscream. He and his fellow conehead Ramjet tend to serve as their leader's heavies.

Ramjet and Dirge accompanied Starscream and the visiting Camien Windblade to a Cube match between Iacon City and Polyhex. Bored with the game, they relished the opportunity to beat up on Bumblebee before the stadium's security guard intervened, then attempted to assist Starscream in "spicing up" the game with a spiked Cube - a plan that resulted in Ramjet and Dirge being repeatedly bonked on the head by Cubes thrown by Windblade and Bumblebee.
