Rook pins the blame for a recent incident on the Decepticons. News at 11.
Synopsis
On ABN, Rook greets his "loyal", enforced viewership, reporting that an unidentified energy burst has been detected. While the cause is unknown, the burst is similar to one from a quadricycle ago, and the fact that the burst is near the former Durax Hospital for Protoforms has Rook quickly claiming that it was caused by the Decepticons rebuilding the facility. Rook rhetorically asks his audience how protoforms will ever learn if they have medibots to repair them for every time they hurt themselves. Still, the Autobot Civil Security Corps has yet to confirm any suspicions, and Rook tells his audience to tune in at 2300, where he'll explain how this is probably the fault of the Decepticons.

Notes
Continuity notes
- The energy burst actually comes from Alpha Trion's return from Axiom Nexus in "Reunification: Part 1", published in the same issue. Presumably, the burst from a quadricycle ago is from Classics Cliffjumper's arrival on Shattered Glass Cybertron in "Shattered Glass".
Transformers references
- Rook is identical to his positive-universe counterpart, but with his colors reversed.
- Rook uses the unit of time "minicon", originally mentioned in the Transformers cartoon episode "City of Steel".
