- Catgut is a Decepticon Action Master partner from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Targetmaster partner to the Decepticon sharpshooter Treadshot, Catgut happily follows along, enjoying the chance to kill as many Autobots as possible, be it with fusion-powered particle cannon blasts or his razor-sharp claws and fangs.
Fiction

INSIRT continuity
Catgut accompanied Treadshot when he was hired by Rewind and Chromedome as muscle while they explored the Vestigial Cortical Complex. Timeless
Toys
Generation 1

- Treadshot with Catgut (Action Master, 1990)
- Catgut came only with his Action Master partner Treadshot as part of the first assortment of "basic" carded Action Master figures. He transforms from a black and orange mechanical panther into a “particle blaster” cannon that Treadshot (or any other Action Master) can hold. Treadshot’s handgun can be attached to Catgut’s cannon barrel to form a “super weapon” mode. He also has two post-holes on his flanks that allow him to carry two normal Action Master rifles.
Timelines

- Treadshot w/ Catgut (TFSS 2.0, 2014)
- TFSS2 number: 4
- A redeco of the Prime Arms Micron Jida, Timelines Catgut is a robotic feline that transforms into whatever you can manage, as there are no instructions for him. As he is an Arms Micron mold, he has multiple 5 mm posts and holes, allowing him to be combined with other Arms Microns and accessories to make bigger and more ridiculous weapons.
- He was only available with his larger Deluxe-sized partner Treadshot as part of the exclusive 2014 Club Figure Subscription Service.
Notes
- According to TFSS Treadshot's profile card, Catgut's two modes are a Prysmosian cheetah and a particle blaster.
- The Action Master partner robots were given the "Targetmaster" classification retroactively by Dreamwave's More than Meets the Eye profile series.
Foreign names
- French: Entrailles (Canada)
