- Shock Drones are Decepticons from the Rise of the Chevy Autobots portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
The Shock Drones may appear to be unthreatening enemies; they have neither the massive physical strength of the Plasma Drones nor the blinding speed of the Vortex Drones. However, hidden within their coppery carapaces is a keenness of mind unexpected in mass-produced cannon fodder like Mainframe's drones. Surprise!

Once Bumblebee identified Mainframe as the being responsible for the disappearances of numerous Autobots on Earth, he began to feed the rogue Decepticon false information about the location of the Allspark. At Mainframe's command, waves of Shock Drones (as well as Plasma Drones, Vortex Drones and Glacier Drones) marched forth to seek out the Allspark and destroy any Autobots they encountered.
