Flex and his friends huddled at Swerve's during Overlord's massacre through the Lost Light, tending their injuries. No Guns, No Swords, No Briefcases
Having left the Lost Light to attend a "pre-wake" for Thunderclash on board the Vis Vitalis, Flex, Skater, and Borer realised that the famed Autobot's affliction was actually being caused by parasitic personality ticks from Marasma, unwittingly brought aboard by Firestar and the other Camiens. After deducing that enough concentrated charisma in one place would cause the creatures to overload and self-destruct, they called Rodimus and Megatron over from the Lost Light, killing the personality ticks and saving the day.
