Grimlock (Animated)

Grimlock is an Autobot in the Transformers Animated continuity family.

Grimlock is a Tyrannosaurus rex in charge of a small, three-mech group of dinosaur transformers known as the Dinobots. Born from a fusion of Earth and Cybertronian technology, with some All Spark intervention thrown in, he's a force to be reckoned with. A little short on brains (at first he didn't actually realise he was a transformer) and a lot short on temper, Grimlock's answer to a problem is usually the simplest: squash it, slash it, bite it, burn it, or eat it.

Due to his rather unique birth, Grimlock has a slow, but endearing, speech pattern, which can easily make you forget he's Godzilla with style.

Currently, Grimlock and his fellow Dinobots are living on an island in Lake Eyrie, hidden there by Prowl and Bulkhead from the rest of the world, human and transformer alike. This looks like its just a stop gap however, as Grimlock's discovery of his status as a transformer means he isn't going to be happy on his little rock. After all, him Grimlock king.

Me Grimlock Toa of Fire!

Grimlock and the Dinobots were originally theme park animatronic displays Isaac Sumdac upgrades with the help of Megatron and a flash of spark from Sari's All Spark key. With Megatron's prodding, the Dinobots decided they like bashing Transformers rather then greeting cheering kiddies. After their defeat, they were imprisoned in an energy cage and were scheduled for melt down. Thinking they had life and were not just some mindless machines, Prowl freed the Dinobots with the help of Bulkhead and secretly relocated them to an island. Dinobot Island perhaps?

Grimlock believes cars are bad but nature is good—until two birds pooped on him. Grimlock expected that two birds will fight like Dinobots, but they escaped! Tail twitching and stomach opening, Grimlock transformed. He drew a huge, blazing sword, and decided he liked the results.Blast from the Past

Kicking Unicron-sized butt be reality! He Grimlock got lower jaw strong enough to crack open a sea turtle and a BIG FREAKIN' SWORD. Decepticons, you been warned. He Grimlock's transformation similar to G1 incarnations, with legs form arms, hind quarters form legs.
