Spoiler?

[edit]

Quoting the article:

"Grimlock took his name by forming a portmanteau out of a sentence spoken by Megatron: "My prospects are grim, locked in this prison of a lab." Who knew he had it in him? In fact, he's the only Dinobot shown to have a name in the cartoon at all."

As of Human Error Part Two, this is no longer the case, but is something as minor as this considered a spoiler? I'd rather leave the decision to someone more experienced than me.Thelastallosaur 11:55, 26 April 2009 (EDT)

Perhaps we could modify that last line into "In fact, he's the only Dinobot shown to have named himself in the cartoon at all" or something similar. --Professor Icepick 12:14, 26 April 2009 (EDT)

Prototype crotch

[edit]

Seriously, is there any reason this wiki should discuss minute changes from prototype to production mold such as this? It's not even an officially released toy yet. We've discussed more significant mold changes, but this one just seems pointless.--RosicrucianTalk 23:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Survival of the Fittest

[edit]

Shouldn't we add something about him in the episode "Survival of the Fittest"? I would do it myself, but I'm new to this stuff.--BioTransformer 17:55, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Just as strong as MEGATRON

Er, yes, and...?--Apcog 21:05, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
I guess that means that there are some Autobots that aren't pansies Blue.rellik 06:12, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Jovian/thor-like

[edit]

So, roman gods not my strong point so I'll leave the jupiter no lightning hammer thing, but we need something better then Thor-like. Sounds so blocky. what about Thunderous fury of Magnus' hammer or something. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GWolfv2 (talkcontribs){{#if:22:20, 6 May 2008| 22:20, 6 May 2008|}}.

To be honest, I liked the use of "Jovian" in the first place. I thought it was more of a reference to the fact that the hammer shot lightning at the Dinobots. --Professor Icepick 22:38, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
I originally phrased it that way because it is, as Icepick says, a high-faluting way of saying "dude be tossing hella lightning."--RosicrucianTalk 01:56, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

An Autobot from the animated continuity family

[edit]

Should we chang that? I mean, technically, the dinobots are more along the lines of Wreck -Gar or the Constructicons. Not really aligned, as such User:GWolfv2 20.28 May 25th

No, because they ARE autobots. Even if they don't say it, the toy states that he is one, and he is leaning more to the Autobot's side(well, prowl and Bulkhead anyway).--Grand-majin 19:34, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Yeah but the exact same applies to Wreck-Gar. Just thinking out loud, so to speak User:GWolfv2 20.42 May 25th
Wreck-Gar also made up his mind at the end if i'm not mistaken, he DID say he wants to be a hero, and was last seen with an autobot emblem.(unlike the constructicons, who pick sides with the ones with the best oil)--Grand-majin 19:45, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Me Grimlock

[edit]

Okay, so I didn't know how else to title it. Anyway... The line "Me Grimlock will love you and hug you and feed you and pet you and hug you and love you and call you George" seem to be influenced by the character Delete from Cyberchase. I was wondering if it was. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.42.130.230 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

It's actually taken from the Abominable Snowman from the old Looney Toons show. Tom Servo the Great 14:06, 4 December 2011 (EST)

Thnak you, Mr. Servo The Great. :) Slag! I meant Thank. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.42.130.230 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

Aren't they all based on Lenny from "Of Mice And Men"? --Thy2k, not logged in

Ancient

[edit]

I got the activator toy & im thinking that we should note that it says hes an ancient autobot. If u r wondering if i have any proof to this, I dont, I wripped the box & my mom threw it in the trash. No, i didnt want to preserve it in the box, (im 11 years old, i wanted to play with it)--User:Jazzerprime

I checked the bios for the Activators toys on tfu.info, and neither of them suggest he's an ancient Autobot. Is there other text on the packaging which does? --abates 06:07, 16 December 2011 (EST)
I don't see anything. -Derik 12:53, 16 December 2011 (EST)

Huh, odd, when i read it it said he was an ancient autobot of the time of beasts (a probable reference to Beast Wars), mine wasnt even a knock off, wierd User:Jazzerprime 12:26, 17 December 2011

Neutered gimmick?

[edit]

In at least one sample, I believe the sword gimmick was partially neutered for safety, similar to Swoop's flail. Is this true or am I just losing it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dingdongdude (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
