"High Command" redirects here. For the Autobot equivalent, see Autobot High Command.

Decepticon High Command represents the upper echelon of the Decepticon army prior to the Ark's launch, and Megatron's most elite commanders.[1]

Every general dreams of joining High Command.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

Decepticon High Command appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

After Megatron disappeared on Earth, the War-Lord Trannis took control of the Decepticon army. Trannis conquered most of Cybertron and destroyed Iacon, forcing the Autobots underground. In time Trannis grew complacent and some Decepticons had the opinion that he was insufficiently aggressive. The Decepticon High Command made plans to oust him, but the Wreckers beat them to it when they assassinated him. Cybertron: The Middle Years!

Decepticon High Command decreed that the Transformers Annual 1989 was anti-Decepticon and sent the Firecons to Earth to incinerate every copy. Transformers Annual 1989

2005 IDW continuity

Early in the war, Onslaught targeted Hot Rod in hopes that eliminating the Autobot would earn him a place in Decepticon High Command. Primacy #4

Starscream promised Squadron X member Tornado a spot on Decepticon High Command "come the revolution". Tornado's Squadron X profile

Though Skyquake made his own little Predator "empire" in the Skomiloch Territories, he made sure his actions didn't contravene the wishes of Megatron or Decepticon High Command. Snare's personnel evaluation
