- Markham is a facsimile construct from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The original Markham was abducted by Bludgeon's cult of Thunderwing and replaced by a facsimile construct in order to gain access to a human drilling company in Eden, Texas. He appears to be Fleming's superior.
Fiction
2005 IDW continuity
Unaware that they were being spied on by Soundwave, Markham and Fleming travelled to Bludgeon's base inside Mount St. Helens to report that they had uncovered a seam of Regenesis ore. Bludgeon instructed them to return to the dig site to deploy "ordnance" that would cause an evacuation of the site, then he, Iguanus and Bomb-Burst arrived and took the ore for themselves. Since their mission was a success, Bludgeon presumably made good on his promise to Fleming and Markham to return them to the oblivion from whence they came. Spotlight: Soundwave
Notes
- Nothing in the comic itself explicitly specifies which facsimile is Fleming and which is Markham apart from their placement in the panel where their names are called out - Fleming is on the left and Markham is on the right. As such, the placement of the images on this and Fleming's page is somewhat arbitrary and they may well belong the other way around.
