Notes
- The Combicons were first alluded to way back in "How Ratchet Got His Hands Back", although they only received an official team name and a full roster in the backup story "No Guns, No Swords, No Briefcases".
- While most other combining characters possess three modes—robot, vehicle, and body part—Ambulon, and presumably the other Combicons, can only transform into their respective combiner parts.
- Based on Ambulon's turnout, it can be assumed the Combicon project involved a team of Cybertronians combining physically, but not mentally, akin to a human pyramid. Swindle's attempt to modify the Stunticons to combine into Menasor in Things Fall Apart, Part 4: "Enemies of the System" involved the same concept, with disastrous results due to their inability to properly cooridinate their unmerged minds.
