A Bathing Ape, abbreviated BAPE, is a Japanese clothing company, primarily selling BAPE-branded clothing. It was founded in 1993 by DJ and music producer Nigo. It's currently owned by the Hong Kong company I.T. and has stores around the world, including London, New York, Beijing and Singapore.

Notes

  • A Bathing Ape is short for "A Bathing Ape In Lukewarm Water" and is not a reference to an unmade Beast Wars episode in which Optimus Primal takes a bath.
