Galvatron enters a deal with some familiar space pirates.

Synopsis

Left behind by the evolved Optimus Prime, Galvatron desperately seeks a way to evolve himself and avoid his fated death. He's soon spotted by Halfshell and Turtler in their space pirate ship, and the two make him an offer: the Angolmois Energy within his body for the stellar power given to Optimus Prime.

Despite being infuriated at the space pirates' lack of respect for his authority, Galvatron takes the deal and is placed in a conversion chamber where he slumbers. In the meantime, Halfshell and Turtler use the Angolmois Energy from the Emperor of Destruction to upgrade Turtler into a more formidable body. The new King of Seacons is born!

(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)

Notes

  • This story was released online with no title by TakaraTomy to promote the upcoming Generations Selects Turtler and Gulf figures.
  • As Turtler never received a robot mode character model in the Super-God Masterforce cartoon, this comic simply copies Halfshell's Beast Wars II cartoon model. Since they share the same bodyform, they refer to each other using the English word "brother", but written in Japanese as 同型 (dōkei, meaning "same type").

Continuity notes

  • Whether Turtler and Halfshell are from the main Japanese Generation 1 continuity is not yet clear, but they do identify themselves as "space pirates" and use the photon sailer, characteristics of Halfshell's Seacons as portrayed in Beast Wars II.
