- Electrostator are energy harvesters from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The electrostator is a device made to draw down all of the electrical potential of a lightning storm into one large bolt.

As part of a plan to create energon out of energy, Scorponok had Iguanus install an electrostator at the top of the Empire State Building, where it would draw the power of a thunderstorm created by the Decepticons' Stormmaker Station.
