"Red Five" (Cyberverse)
I thought that too, but I also thought that the way he was part of the group that was otherwise made up of named characters, his prominent red colouring and the fact he was the first one to be "shot down" as part of the diversion was a reference to the Redshirt trope, which then became playing with the trope because he didn't actually die.
I have to admit that as soon as I saw the guy, I thought, "A red generic? Oh, no. The poor doomed bastard." And then when his shuttle blew up first...—The preceding unsigned comment was added by WM-R (talk • contribs).
Didn't they confirm that the Bumblebee movie is a reboot?

- Already discussed here. The upshot is that the announcement was vague marketing speak but that actual released products link the BB movie to the previous ones. Basically, the announcement was Hasbro's way of saying "we know the old movies sucked, we promise future ones will be better" without actually insulting their own prior product. --Khajidha (talk) 10:35, 15 November 2019 (EST)
