Transformers: Mystery of Convoy

  • Stages: 4, 5
  • Point value: 500

First encountered in the Subspace Zone, Burcane Balls fly forward, caroming off the floors and ceilings, and slowly phasing through walls, covering large areas in an attempt to smash into any invading Autobots.

In the Floating City, Burcanes travel in a slow wavy pattern, phasing easily through any obstacles (but being distressingly solid when it comes to colliding with Autobots). Some of the mecha-volcanoes in the area also disgorge Burcane Balls, but these simply arc upwards then plummet downward in a short range around the volcano. Transformers: Mystery of Convoy

Notes

  • In early game footage seen in the Mystery of Convoy promo video, the Burcane Balls travel in "trains" of four along the same wavy course, but also drop projectiles underneath them to discourage you from just running under them. This obviously changed before the game's release.
  • We have zero idea what "Burcane" is supposed to mean.
