Shigeru Chiba (千葉 繁 Chiba Shigeru born February 4, 1954) is a veteran Japanese voice actor who was born as Masaharu Maeda (前田正治, Maeda Masaharu) and is employed by the talent management firm 81 Produce. Prior to voice acting, he worked as a stunt man and sound effects director. Some of his better known anime roles are Kazuma Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho, Buggy the Clown from One Piece, Corset from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Megane from Urusei Yatsura, Professor Hiragi from Mon Colle Knights, Yotsuya from Maison Ikkoku, Emperor Pilaf & Raditz from Dragon Ball, Kefka Palazzo in Dissidia Final Fantasy and the Narrator of Fist of the North Star. As another fact, he worked on Toei's long running Super Sentai series, specifically as Dr. Ulshade and the equipment voice in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger following several prior roles.

In the world of dubbing, he has played Janosz in Ghostbusters II, Wedge Antilles in the original Star Wars trilogy, Beast in the TV Tokyo dub of Saban's X-Men, Victor Sullivan in the Uncharted video game series, The Short Order Cook (Stan Lee) in Spider-Man PS4 video game, and Discord in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
