TV Tokyo

TV TOKYO Corporation (株式会社テレビ東京 Kabushiki Gaisha Terebi Tōkyō), one of Tokyo's smallest TV stations that began airing on April 12, 1964, is headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan, and they mostly specialize in anime. Some of the popular anime titles include Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Noir, and Azumanga Daioh.
They also frequently air dubbed foreign animation (a practice most Japanese broadcast networks refuse). Over the years, TV Tokyo has broadcast shows such as Reboot, Saban's X-Men, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the 1987, 2003 and 2012 incarnations of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
From October 1, 1997 to December 27, 2000, a Transformers program aired in TV Tokyo's Wednesday, 6:30pm timeslot without losing the spot to another program. The streak was eventually broken by [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}The Powerpuff Girls|{{#if:||The Powerpuff Girls}}]].
TV Aichi is a network station under them.
