Sweep Seven is a Decepticon from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sweep Seven is one of the Sweeps, huntsmen of Scourge created by Unicron from parts of dead Decepticons. Sweep Seven is the weapons officer of the Sweeps, keeping them supplied with the most up-to-date hardware imaginable.

Sweep Seven was (presumably) created by Unicron from the remains of fallen Decepticon warriors, following the Decepticons' failed assault on Autobot City. The Transformers: The Movie

Sweep Seven may be among the Sweeps seen in a variety of exploits over the course of the Generation 1 cartoon.

Wings Universe

Cyclonus, Scourge, and a swarm of Sweeps attacked an Autobot shuttle carrying Kup, Hot Rod and the Dinobots. After losing track of them for a few, the hunters finally found their prey and boarded the shuttle. Unfortunately for the Sweeps, they had interrupted the story Kup was telling the Dinobots to keep them entertained in the downtime. The Dinobots were not amused, and proceeded to violently dismember the Sweeps. Wings of Honor

While this comic does not specifically identify Sweep Seven as one of the Sweeps taking part in the attack, it was specifically designed to help promote the BotCon 2009 figures, of which Sweep Seven is a member.

Legends comic

Sweep No. 7 was a bit stupid, and always gasped for breath, despite not needing to breathe as a robot. LG-26 Scourge Prologue He and the other Sweeps were caught up in Scorponok's black hole explosion that caused their bodies to shrink, forcing them to become Headmasters. The affected Decepticons travelled to the Legends World, where they teamed up with Tera-Kura Co. Headmaster Chapter Prologue The Sweeps became part of the company's official hierarchy, working under Scourge, Bonus Edition Vol. 22 and participated in an introductory lineup for Galvatron, where No. 7 was said to have the voice of Blurr. LG-26 Scourge Prologue Despite being relegated to janitorial duties, the Sweeps got new transtector bodies after striking a deal with Terrorsaur to kidnap Alpha Trion for him. When Scourge powered himself up using Trion, the Sweeps grew jealous and swarmed his transtector in an attempt to get a piece of the cake. Locating a second Headmaster port on Scourge's back, Seven combined with his leader and took control of his body, forcing him to transform into vehicle mode. In the end, the transtector overloaded and exploded, and the Sweeps then returned to being janitors, now supervised by a freed Trion. Bonus Edition Vol. 26

As part of Weirdwolf's rogue Decepticon faction, Sweep No. 7 helped rebuild Trypticon and fight Nightbird's clones during a battle to steal Metroplex's transformation cog. Decepticon Civil War He fell in a hole and was buried when the Sweeps were digging for the Zodiac, which only expounded his breathing problems. Targetmaster Chapter Prologue They found Blowpipe and tried to use his cloning ability to create a Sharkticon army, but interrupted by Hot Rod and Shaoshao Li. No. 7 combined with his transtector and used Blowpipe to take control of the Sharkticons and sic them at the intruders, but the beasts soon turned on their creators who were defeated and arrested. Bonus Edition Vol. 44

Not ones to give up, the Sweeps stole Blowpipe again and cloned No. 7, creating an army of Sweeps that scoured the city in search of White Lune. They came close to capturing her, but were ultimately defeated by Hot Rod, Blurr, Kup and their Targetmasters. Megatron punished No. 7 and Scourge by having them dress up as Santa Claus and deliver presents to children. Bonus Edition Vol. 44

Sweeps Two, Six, and Seven came in an exclusive three-pack at BotCon 2009, all three being identical redecos of the Timelines Scourge toy available at the same convention. The mold is a retool of Cybertron Sideways with a new head, transforming into a teal and white alien spacefighter with yellow detailing. The Sweeps are armed with "battle shields" with Cyber Key-activated pop-out blades. Their wings can also detach from their ankles and be used as blades, with both pegging into their hands, either with one blade in each hand, or with both blades pegging into the top and bottom of a single hand, forming a double-bladed weapon. They come with three yellow Planet X-style Cyber Keys with teal deco.

The Sweeps were later repurposed as Shattered Glass Scourge. The original version of this mold was also used for the Japanese DVD-exclusive Noisemaze Mass Production Type Version and Universe Ratbat.

Legends "Sweeps" is a redeco/retool of Titans Return Fracas, with a new up-swept mustache face. As a Headmaster, the Sweep can transform into a head compatible with Scourge or any other Deluxe-or-larger Titans Return or Legends Headmasters figure. This toy also doubles as this Sweep.

The Sweep was bundled with Sharktron, a redeco of Titans Return Gnaw.
