The Midgard is an undersea laboratory from the Rescue Bots cartoon portion of the Aligned continuity family.

The Midgard is the design of Professor Anna Baranova—a mobile undersea laboratory designed as part of Project Midgard, to investigate the Griffin Rock Triangle. It contains life-support systems, a greenhouse, communications equipment, and an extremely long-lasting power supply.

Fiction

Rescue Bots cartoon

After building the Midgard, Professor Baranova used it in her research of the Griffin Rock Triangle and discovered that the ship sinkings were caused by a vent releasing methane into the sea. She attempted to use an explosive to seal the vent, but a burst of methane caught the Midgard, causing it to crash and damaging its engines and communication equipment. Its systems were robust enough that once she sealed off the damaged sections, Baranova was able to survive for another twenty-eight years before the Midgard was found by the Burns family and their Rescue Bots. Once she was persuaded by Cody Burns, Baranova armed the bomb so the Rescue Bots could push the Midgard into the trench where it exploded, sealing the vent. A replica of the Midgard was later constructed on Griffin Rock for Baranova to live in. The Griffin Rock Triangle
