Twincast returns to being Blaster and sets out to become a professional artist.
Synopsis
Some time earlier, Twincast and Flip Sides, one of his cassettes, are arrested by Road Rage and brought to Athenia to face charges of Flip Sides being a Decepticon spy. He vehemently defends his friend, refusing to believe these claims, but is forced to accept the truth when Flip Sides reveals her Decepticon persona.
In the present day, it's Twincast's turn to receive his new transtector, a giant mobile deck able to shrink into a handy small form that can be carried around. He uses it to blast his coworkers with music at full volume, pleased by their annoyed reactions that remind him of the good old days as the fun-loving Blaster who'd always do this kind of thing. He remembers having to start taking his duties seriously after becoming Metroplex's City Commander, and as Twincast he's always been doing spy work, but in the peaceful Legends World, he can finally throw all that away and become the music-loving Blaster once more! Optimus Primal doesn't care for his "rebirth" and tells him to get back to work.

Things don't go as planned for Blaster, however: entering the world of music is difficult and he soon ends up poor and homeless, trying to sell his CDs on the street to little success. As he reflects on Rosanna's musical career going better than his and wishing his transtector could transform into a house, a giant two-headed monster attacks the city. He joins with his transtector and leaps into action, grabbing a mysterious orb hanging from the beast's neck that turns out to be the Zodiac! Its energy flows through Blaster, granting his wish by transforming his transtector into a "Zone Mode" base. Joined by Blurr, Hardhead, and his cassette friends, he unleashes the base's firepower on the monster, defeating it and revealing it to be Scourge, similarly transformed by the Zodiac.
In celebration of their victory, Blaster hosts a joint Autobot/Decepticon concert starring Hardhead, Rosanna, and Cancer. He revels in the show, believing music to be the universal language that will bring everyone together... but for all his gusto, his CDs still don't sell and his life as a street musician continues.

Notes
- Barring Rewind (who's a real figure), the cassettes are all "virtual redecoes" of Titans Return/Legends moulds. Ramhorn is conspicuously absent from the group in the present day – he had yet to get a figure in the line.
- Twincast and Flip Sides are on trial following the events of Road Rage's Masterpiece bio, which describes Road Rage hunting the two down after Twincast became a fugitive in defense of Flip Sides.
- Blaster became Autobot City Commander in season three of the Generation 1 cartoon, which is really neat to see referenced here since basically nobody remembers it was a thing.
- He also references his time as a spy, which was his new job after being rebuilt as Twincast in The Headmasters anime. This series recast him in an espionage role to further play up his rivalry with Soundwave, which had never been an element of the character in the original cartoon.
- Blaster's hope for a Cybertron Alliance will come to pass (albeit briefly) in part 3 of the G-2 story pages, which did feature Blaster in the background. His appearance as Blaster instead of Twincast was likely a flub at the time, but this story effectively fixes that... or it would, if we didn't already know Blaster needs to be Twincast again in the mid-2030s, circa "Metrowars".
- Blaster's base mode being called a "Zone Mode" is a reference to Transformers: Zone, in which the power of the Zodiac gave the Powered Masters the ability to transform into bases also referred to as "Zone Modes".
