- Prometheus Black is a human character from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
"Prometheus!"
Prometheus Black is the alter-ego of Detroit's supervillain Meltdown. He gained his corrosive acid-based powers after exposure to Transformer technology. In addition to the acid thing, he also looks good in a pimp suit, which is the best superpower ever.
