This is actually the world's greatest "your mom" joke.

Mount Rushmore is a monument located in South Dakota. It features busts of American presidents, including Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

During their graffiti spree around America, the Battlechargers Runamuck and Runabout stopped off at Mount Rushmore to daub some clever and pithy sentiment across the presidents' faces. Unfortunately the local lifeforms were incapable of comprehending Cybertronian and the pair's genius was wasted on them. Pictures of the defacement got back to the Intelligence and Information Institute, which in turn alerted the Rapid Anti-robot Assault Team and the pair were eventually stopped. Decepticon Graffiti!

The AllSpark Almanac

2005 IDW continuity

To defend the protoforms he had charged himself with protecting, Trypticon used his space bridge to flee Cybertron and landed near Mount Rushmore. The President of the United States and her retinue eventually arrived to investigate the Cybertronians; Rom and Jazz later travelled there so that the Space Knight could use Trypticon's space bridge to reach Cybertron. Mount Rushmore was then visited by the Dinobots who demanded their friend be released only for the Colonist Soldiers to come barging in on a half-cocked rescue mission. Though the Dinobots attempted to restraint the youths, the arrival of G.I. Joe only made things worse and a brawl ensued. The Junkions then arrived with their Sharkticon force to make another attempt to conquer the planet only for Jazz to break up the fighting. It was then that Unicron's visage appeared over the area. As Sofía Orozco had arrived to report on the latest crisis, the Peaceful Revolution emerged from the ground (Goldbug was aiming for moderate density) and carried the Transformers, bar Trypticon, to Victoria Falls in Africa. A Sunrise Dark

Within Trypticon, the humans held a meeting on how to combat the threat. Assembly As he left to take part in the space battle against the Chaos Bringer, Trypticon unloaded his cargo of sparks and left them at the base of the mountain. By the sparks, Soundwave and Jetfire utilized the Enigma of Combination to psychically reinforce Optimus Prime against the vengeful spirit of Unicron's creator. With this boost, Optimus managed to have Unicron collapse in on itself, all the combatants of the space battle space bridging back to the Mount Rushmore after the battle ended. Ceremony

In the original timeline, one of the first acts perpetrated by the Decepticons when they were reactivated in 1984 was the destruction of Mount Rushmore. Enemy of My Enemy Part Two

Notes

The Decepticons had no problems with the Lakota tribe, who mysteriously vanished just before the construction of this monument.

• In the episode "Triple Takeover" from the original The Transformers cartoon, Blitzwing, Starscream, and Astrotrain carved their faces along with that of Megatron into the side of a mountain in a similar manner to that used on Mount Rushmore.
• The Rescue Bots Academy episode "Mount Botmore" shows a similar monument being constructed in Griffin Rock, featuring the faces of Heatwave, Boulder, Blades, and Chase.
