- Thinkbox is a Transformer from the 2005 IDW continuity portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Thinkbox is an ancient Headmaster who fought in the First Cybertronian Civil War.
Fiction

Some time during the war, Thinkbox ended up offlined on Spindrift and was used by the crew of the Murkdipper as a component of their ship. Galvatron put an end to this when he awakened Thinkbox using the Darkness and added him to his legion of robotic warriors made to battle the D-Void. Heart of Darkness #3
Notes
- Thinkbox's status as a Headmaster was a bit out of place at the time he was introduced, as he didn't resemble any Headmasters previously seen in IDW continuity nor share their origin as creations of Scorponok. Robots in Disguise #21 would later patch up this issue by establishing that he was part of an ancient faction also known as Headmasters, which also explains how Thinkbox was able to recognize the long-lost Galvatron.
- It is unclear if Thinkbox's partner is still present as his head in the story or not.
