Transformers: Zone (トランスフォーマーZ) is a Japanese Transformers franchise from 1990. The waning popularity of Transformers became evident with the advent of the Zone franchise, which received very little of the traditional media support.
The Zone franchise featured the following primary components:
- Toys released under the original Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers branding
- A one-episode OVA
- One chapter of manga telling the same story as the OVA
- A series of story pages published in TV Magazine
Notes
- The fictional timeframe of Zone is unclear other than that it transpires between Victory in 2025 and Return of Convoy in 2031.
