Beast Wars: Uprising

Direwolf was one of the generals of the Resistance during the Grand Uprising. He was coordinating troop movements around Kalis and Kolkular when the Vehicon Apocalypse began.

During the push on Iacon, Direwolf led one of the teams that seized control of the Yuss Naval Batteries. He marched on Iacon itself with Lio Convoy and the other generals of High Command, and lay siege to the High Pavilion to reach the Builder Assembly.

After the Vehicons turned on the Builders, Direwolf and Survive were entrenched with the surviving troops, cut off from the rest of High Command. While Lio Convoy and Blackarachnia pushed on to the Grand Mal in Nova Cronum, Direwolf and the others fought towards relative safety at the High Pavilion. The surviving Resistance forces were nearly overrun and surrounded by the Vehicons, but fortunately Hot Rod and Micromasters abandoned their safety to help the proto-formers reach the Arena alive. Notes

  • Direwolf is a canonized version of a character who appeared in "Alignment". The "dark science" he uses in that story was converted to Machōkon.
