The name or term "Thrust" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Thrust (disambiguation).
Thrust is a Decepticon Destructicon from the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family (via Attacktix).
He sure is a Decepticon.

Thrust, created by Jhiaxus, is an expert sharpshooter. He and Obsidian are sometimes rivals and sometimes allies.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

In Malgus 508.6 Zeta, the Transwarp explosion on Dinobot Island blasted Waspinator's spark from his body. It was eventually retrieved from transwarp space by the Jhiaxus of Viron 903.0 Beta, who used it to power a protoform blank that would become Thrust. Thrust was a refined sharpshooter and capable member of the Destructicons. Underneath, however, subconscious memories of his former lack of finesse haunted him, causing him to manifest a cowardly streak when confronted with real danger. Thrust and the former Autobot Obsidian were variably rivals and allies. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/09

Merchandise

Attacktix

  • Thrust (Booster, 2007)
Two different Attacktix Thrust pieces were planned for the ultimately unreleased series-2 "Booster" assortment, each a "super Rare" available in blind-packed Booster Packs. The first was to be a redeco of the series-1 Skyblast robot-mode piece, a 30-point "Specialist" with a spring-loaded spear-stab attack. His Special Power, "Transform", was to let you replace a fallen robot-mode Thrust with his vehicle-mode piece if you have it in your Back-Ups (not the "defeated" pile.)

Game over.
This Attacktix item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.

...Or is he?
  • Thrust (Booster, 2007)
The second Thrust Attacktix piece, part of the same Booster set, would have been (of course) a redeco of Skyblast's jet-mode piece, which can pivot up and down and fires a standard Attacktix missile. A 20-point "Specialist", his Special Power "Transform" would have let you replace the defeated vehicle-mode Thrust with robot-mode Thrust if you have him in your Back-Ups (not the "defeated" pile).
In Hasbro's stock photo of the piece (right), the base was mistakenly given Skyblast's label.

Game over.
This Attacktix item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.
