Why couldn't they have named me Super Popular Guy Who Appears in All the Scenes?

When Autobot headquarters received a transmission, the Comms Officer explained that it had been sent from Ultra Magnus. He joined Cog and Chromia at Iacon in their attempts to perform recon around the alleged location of the Allspark, however it was soon revealed to be a Decepticon trap laid by Impactor. Siege episode 2

The Comms Officer explained to Elita One that they had lost Optimus Prime's signal while Prime's team was in the Sea of Rust. When the Ark was infected by a virus, the Comms Officer looked around in shock as the virus visibly pulsed through the equipment on the bridge. Siege episode 5 As the Decepticons assaulted the damaged Ark, the Comms Officer joined the other Autobots in attempting to repel them. Siege episode 6

The Comms Officer stayed behind on Cybertron under Elita One's command, being part the assault team on the Decepticon fortress. Despite being captured and handcuffed, a wavering Skytread and a trigger-happy Chromia freed them, right before an explosion within the fortress sent everyone flying. Earthrise episode 6

Notes

  • The Comms Officer is a "virtual redeco" of War for Cybertron: Siege Cog. In addition to his brown coloration, the Comms Officer's voice actor is different to set him apart from Cog. However, he is credited simply as "Comms Officer".
  • Many Autobot soldiers sharing the same body-type as Cog in the same colors as the Comms Officer are killed in Siege episode 6 while defending the Ark from Decepticons.
