Oh. All this time I thought it was canon. Still Wedge could be born during the time of Cyclonus Reign which was during the time after the war has ended. Wedge still never came off of as this prewar bot. But thanks for letting me know. {{unsigned|NYH}}

Hey do you know if this ask victor prime is canon Actually according to ask victor prime, Wedge was born during Cyclonus reign in Robots In Disguise. So although he is older then the other recruits, he’s still a post war bot.
Hey do you the ask victor prime from Facebook is official/canon?

Where can I watch this episode, since it already supposedly aired in the UK?Transfan 1992 (talk) 04:25, 11 June 2020 (EDT)

The Decepticon

I don't agree with the note about Laserbeak. The reasons given don't seem particularly strong. He was very G1 in look in the War for/Fall of Cybertron games, for instance. --abates (talk) 02:37, 25 June 2020 (EDT)

If it was just the look, I'd agree it was an Evergreen decision, but the look combined with the "no criminal record" backstory made it a lot harder to believe. I posed the question on the Discord, and the consensus was that we separate the two. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 19:36, 25 June 2020 (EDT)
What if he has no criminal record because he technically was under Soundwave's control or whatever?Transfan 1992 (talk) 01:42, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
Perceptor says he "currently has no criminal record" which does not rule out him having a criminal record in the past that has been closed or wiped clean due to an amnesty or whatever. Besides which, Aligned is not all one continuity. The shows borrow a lot from each other and even cross over, but only things that happen onscreen in Rescue Bots Academy can be considered canon for Rescue Bots Academy. --abates (talk) 03:38, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
Yeah, the fact that Perceptor used the word "currently" in reference to Laserbeak's criminal record (or lack therof) and status as "a free bot" leads me to believe that he once did have a criminal record but has somehow since been absolved of his crimes. --Sabrblade (talk) 10:40, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
I mean the continuity thing doesn't really work when this show makes references to events from Robots in Disguise. Escargon (talk) 10:42, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
Perceptor's exact words: "Research has determined that this bot is indeed a Decepticon that goes by the name Laserbeak. But more importantly, he currently has no criminal record, and is a free bot." Perceptor had to look him up to identify him, so his name and record are on file. And it would be odd to identify someone who never had a criminal record as "a free bot", rather than someone who served their time and was freed after paying their debt to society. Perceptor doesn't say "he has no criminal record,", he say "he currently has no criminal record," which combined with his "free" status sounds more like Laserbeak is a former convict who was somehow given a clean slate to start his life over after being declared a free bot. We don't know what the circumstances of his past were that led to this current status of his, and will probably never know since RBA doesn't dabble in war history. But the point still stands. --Sabrblade (talk) 10:57, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
I was also saying the same thing about continuity being wonky, and we shouldn't even bother splitting characters like Snarl and Sludge or even Hoist because at this point it seems like the aligned continuity is about to die off anyway with the end of this show, so I think we should just leave em on the same page. It'll be one of those squit and it may work, and if it's really that much of a problem, why don't we just put a note saying it's possible it's a separate character or whatever, but just leave it on anyways?Transfan 1992 (talk) 20:55, 1 July 2020 (EDT)
We can also just ask the producers or whatever if they're doing what Beecham did, somewhere?Transfan 1992 (talk) 21:18, 1 July 2020 (EDT)

I think Wedge was born during the time of war was wrong because according to ask victor prime tumblr page, he was born during Cyclonus reign in Robots In Disguise. So that makes him still older then the rest of the recruits, but still a post war bot. Wedge never comes off as prewar or war born bot to me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by NYH (talkcontribs).

That Ask Vector Prime tumblr is fan-made. It's not official, so you can't use it as evidence. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 01:17, 19 March 2021 (EDT)
