Whenever a battle calls for a Maximal to use a ranged weapon to blindly fire lasers at their enemy, the Cybertron Buster (サイバトロンバスター Saibatoron Basutā) is here to help!
This is a standard-model blaster used only by Maximals, whenever their special attacks are considered too powerful for a particular battle—because, let's be honest, if a battle can be won by a single blast from, let's say Bighorn's "Buffalo Missile", the fight would be over in mere seconds.

Beast Wars II cartoon
Scuba was the first to wield the Cybertron Buster, in the episode "The Lake Trap". As the character and his toy both lacked any blaster-type weapons, the generic weapon made for an excellent addition to his dramatic entrance in the Predacon base.
