3 / 5 from G4 TV's X-play

G4 TV's sarcasm-and-sex game review series X-Play gave Transformers 3 out of 5 stars. This review appears to be representative of overall response.

Transformers isn't truly bad, just unimpressive. There are a couple of great unlockables for old-school Transformers fans like the original Optimus Prime and Megatron. [...] But it's still disappointing that we got such a strikingly average game out of such a cool concept.Adam Sessler, X-Play 8-24-2007
