Rainbow Sam (レインボーサム Reinbō Samu) is a Special Intelligence Officer in the Laser Beast army. Born in the Parrot Clan, Rainbow Sam's inherent curiosity enables him to check every minute detail in his environment on his reconnaissance missions. He is easygoing and people find him easy to associate with. This makes thing significantly easier for the parrot, as this allows him to pry out secrets out of the most silent. Rainbow Sam enjoys the process of entrapping his opponents when they drop their guard.

His MVP Weapon, the Wide Sensor Laser, can be used to detect even the tiniest of motions.

Rainbow Sam was among those who resided in the Laser Beasts' underground city until its destruction. Legend of the Three Wise Ones During their invasion of the surface, he infiltrated Bistoram and spied upon White Leo's forces, reporting to Tigerburn that they had figured out the Laser Beasts' invasion plan. He later delivered another report that the Beastformers were offering to negotiate, but Tigerburn ordered his forces to open fire on them. Beastformers VS Laser Beasts

Rainbow Sam took part in the final battle between the Beastformers and the Laser Beasts on Beast in 2023. The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 1

In 2038, the then-peaceful Beast was invaded by Galvatron II's Decepticons. Rainbow Sam was part of the joint Beastformer-Laser Beast alliance that fought against the invaders. The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 3

Part of the first (and only) assortment of Laser Beasts, Rainbow Sam is an anthropomorphic scarlet macaw in high-tech yellow armor. He comes with his "Wide Sensor Laser".

Instead of a rubsign, he has a transparent orb in his torso with a small hole in his back. By holding his back to a light source, looking into the orb reveals the elemental power of Fire, Water or Wood.
