- Great Byte is an Autobot Mini-Con from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Great Byte works with Sideswipe.

- Part of the second wave of Combiner Force Activator Combiner toys, Great Byte is a retool of Mini-Con Weaponizer Sawtooth, transforming from a bipedal shark-motif robot (retaining the inner mechanisms and robot mode feet) into an old fighter jet. He comes with the larger Sideswipe.
- When Great Byte is attached to Sideswipe in sports car mode, it changes him into something similar to a Formula-1 racecar with a pop-out front wing and side engines with exhaust pipes. Great Byte also can be used as a weapon for larger figures via a 5mm post at the end of his fuselage.
Notes
- "Great Byte" was the originally-intended name for Sawtooth, that was nixed by Hasbro's legal department. Presumably something changed during the (short) time after the release of the Weaponizers.
- Strangely though, Sawtooth's card artwork for both the Single-pack and Battle Pack depicts him with Great-Byte's colors...
- While all his fellow Activator Mini-Cons appeared in the cartoon, including one who didn't have a toy, Great Byte remained Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Show.
