| The name or term "Skyfire" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Skyfire (disambiguation). |
- Skyfire is a Decepticon from both the 2001 Robots in Disguise and the Generation 1 continuity families.

Skyfire is about as loyal and reliable as they come. His devotion to Megatron is unwavering, and he can always be counted on to complete his missions to the best of his ability... very much the personality opposite of his flashy wing-mech Wind Sheer. Skyfire is straight and true in everything he does, which can make him kind of predictable, but he's at least got some heavy firepower to back him up.
Fiction
Of Masters and Mayhem
Skyfire and Wind Sheer were part of a Decepticon squadron stationed near Gargoid. Along with Crash Test, Rotorbolt, and Hexadeathimal, they penetrated to the center of the Autobot base at Gargoid to free their infiltration specialist, Counterpunch, then slaughter their way outwards from the inside while the rest of the Decepticon forces continued attacking from the outside. Everything was going fine until Counterpunch's secondary Autobot personality, Punch, took on a life of its own and attacked his comrades. Once he shot down Crash Test, Skyfire and the others turned on him and blasted Punch like the traitor he was. The Truth We Make
