The Metrotype (メトロタイプ Metorotaipu) are a group of gigantic Autobots with the same bodyform and with cities as alternate modes.

Metrotitan was existent since ancient times, being buried under the surface of Titan for eons. Metrobase was also older, being set up as the guardian of the Ark before 1985.
