Bomb-Burst is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Power Core Combiners portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

Bomb-Burst is Salvage's newly-acquired Mini-Con partner, and helps power up his big buddy using his several different modes.

• Salvage with Bomb-Burst (Commander 2-pack, 2011)

A redeco of Power Core Combiners Chainclaw, Bomb-Burst was available only with his larger partner Salvage. He transforms into a robot, "armor" for any Commander robot, or one of two different (non-firing) multi-missile launcher modes; one Powerlinx-plug-mounted, the other hand-held. The Powerlinx plug on his back, which is his handle in hand-held-launcher mode, makes him compatible with any toy with a Powerlinx socket, enabling you to double-stack Mini-Cons or mount any weapon that has a 5 mm post-hole.

Wave five of Power Core Combiners barely made out it to larger retail in its original run, making them incredibly hard to obtain outside of online sources.

This mold was also used to make United Fracas and Spanner.

Salvage and Bomb-Burst were made more readily available at retail as part of a Walmart-exclusive Black Friday "Value Pack", combining a 5-pack team with a Commander 2-pack via packaging tape and a couple of stickers.

Salvage has been found attached to the Grimstone/Dinobots, Steamhammer/Constructions and Over-Run/Stunticons sets.
