Fireblast is a measure of a Transformer's relative ability to blast their opponents, graded on a scale of one to ten, as recorded in their Tech Specs.
Notes
- "Fireblast" is a term which around 2001 came to replace the term "firepower" as a Tech Spec rating.
- Many fans speculated that the reason for the change was to avoid the potentially inappropriate-for-children connotation the word "firepower" had with guns. As it turns out, what really happened was that someone had trademarked "firepower" already, forcing Hasbro to replace the term with something else. "Fireblast" is a neologism and an example of the blastification trend within Transformers.
