- Buildup is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Buildup is not just a skilled medic who slowly repairs his hosts' damaged parts and restores energon levels to nominal status when Powerlinxed. This Mini-Con tries to make sure his patients are as emotionally stable as their power-feed regulators are! He doesn't have any real training, per se, but he means well. Plus, he's discovered a veritable goldmine of inspiration in humanity's self-help books. His teammates on the Green Mini-Con Team are thrilled, we're sure.[1]
Games
Transformers (PS2)
Buildup was one of several Mini-Cons found within an abandoned research center in Antarctica. Following the defeat of Megatron, he and the other Mini-Cons returned to Cybertron and helped form the Matrix Cannon, Nemesis Shield and Vanguard Booster, giving the Autobots the power needed to destroy Unicron. Notes
- Buildup uses the same base model as Comeback.
- Buildup is very likely named after the production company Buildup, who produced the CGI movies for the Armada video game.
