- Overwatch is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Overwatch is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across Earth. A member of the Blue Mini-Con Team, when Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Overwatch transforms into a wide-angle blaster that can hit several close-range enemies at once.
It's a good thing that Overwatch is such a useful weapon, because he's not someone you want to work with on a day-to-day basis. It's not that he's a snoop - okay, he IS a snoop. But worse, he's a TERRIBLE snoop. Because he can never keep his facts straight, Overwatch often unintentionally makes things up about the people he futilely tries to keep tabs on, earning him the ire of many.[1]
Whether or not he can actually keep track of the people who are angry at him is anyone's guess.

Overwatch's Mini-Con storage panel was discovered in the Deep Amazon, on an island in the middle of the river. Following the defeat of Megatron, he and the other Mini-Cons returned to Cybertron and helped form the Matrix Cannon, Nemesis Shield and Vanguard Booster, giving the Autobots the power needed to destroy Unicron.
